TIP # 1- When playing doubles, it is more important not to fool your partner than it is to fool your opponents.
TIP # 2- When playing doubles and your opponents have all the 5's, your best defense is to play aces almost every opportunity.
TIP # 3- When playing either doubles or singles, it is normally best to play your strongest suit first.
TIP # 4- If you down a double, your second play should tell your partner a lot about your hand.

When playing 9 rocks one-on-one, never down a double if you have no 5's. If you do, please have at least 5 blanks.
If you down a double without having 5's when playing 7 rocks, your are less likely to get hurt than when playing 9 rocks.

Don't play 7 rock strategy when playing 9 rock dominoes and vice versa.
